The parent company of ALM Partners Group, ALM Group Ltd, has successfully completed a share issue aimed at the employees of ALM Partners. As a result of the issue, the number of employee shareholders will increase by 14 new partners. The total number of employee-owners after the ownership arrangements will be 59 employee shareholders.

As part of the changes that occur on September 12, 2023, Jukka Sarkanen, one of the founding members of ALM Partners, has reached the retirement age of 60, as specified in his contracts. Jukka Sarkanen served as the CEO of ALM Partners from February 2011 to February 2018, and subsequently as the Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors from February 2018 to February 2023, after which he continued as a board member. In this transition, Jukka Sarkanen is relinquishing his ownership in the group but will continue to serve as a board member within ALM Partners Group and pursue new challenges outside of the group.
We warmly thank Jukka for his visionary contributions to the financial industry over the decades and for laying a strong foundation for the current growth and success of ALM Partners! At the same time, we wish him an excellent 60th birthday!
Following the changes in ownership, ALM Partners Group is now 85 % employee owned. The group’s financial stability remains strong, and it has no net debt. In the future, the strong growth story of the company will rest on the broad shoulders of our committed personnel and widening ownership structure.
